“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”—Steve Jobs
“A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we’re safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we’re two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we’ve found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life.”—Richard Bach
“I feel that life is divided into the horrible and the miserable. That’s the two categories. The horrible are like, I don’t know, terminal cases, you know, and blind people, crippled. I don’t know how they get through life. It’s amazing to me. And the miserable is everyone else. So you should be thankful that you’re miserable, because that’s very lucky, to be miserable.”—Woody Allen, “Annie Hall”
Dear Life, You are going by too fast for me. Please slow down. Love, me.
So yesterday, I had a meeting with my graduate school advisor. Thank goodness too because I finally got everything in order with my application and, according to her, I should be walking into an interview in about two or three weeks. It is exciting and terrifying all at the same time. I still have my doubts if this is my future or not. But as promised to myself, I am just going with it. With organization though, came cold hard reality of how much I have to do still. I am overwhelmed and worried if I can actually get this all done.
